We apply the Nigeria Tax Act rules effective for 2026 and the common computation rules used in practice (PAYE bands, reliefs/caps, pension/NHF before tax, small-company checks, CIT and development levy where applicable). We also update TaxCalc when rules change, and we clearly show assumptions where they matter.

No. TaxCalc.ng is an independent tool and is not affiliated with FIRS, LIRS, or any government body. We provide estimates for planning and documentation - not official filings.

Yes. Free runs are anonymous: no sign-up required, and we do not save the financial data you enter. If you create an account and save reports, that saved data stays inside your account/workspace.

For Premium/Business accounts we store your account email and basic profile info, the reports/runs you choose to save, and workspace info you provide (e.g., company name, RC, state, address). We do not store your card details. Payments are processed securely by Paystack.

No. You can run PAYE or CIT in your browser without signing up (nothing saved). Create an account only if you want saved history, exports, or Business/Payroll features.

Personal Premium is built for individuals who want a tax workspace: save runs and keep separate sheets (salary/side gigs/etc.), compare your PAYE under the 2026 and 2025 rules, use planning tools, save filtered deadline calendars, get reminder emails for supported deadlines, upload statements where supported, and download clean PDF reports for records and sharing.

Yes. Premium/Business users can download branded PDFs and exports from saved runs. Free runs stay in your browser session only.

Personal (PAYE): personal income tax estimates for individuals. Business (CIT): company income tax estimates for registered businesses. Business Payroll: team workspaces to calculate employee PAYE outcomes and generate payroll exports.

A Business Workspace is a shared space for your company/team to manage payroll runs and exports. It includes workspace profile details, member roles, seat limits, and billing under the business plan.

Yes. You can invite members into a workspace and assign roles like Owner/HR/Finance (standard access) and Viewer/Auditor (read-only access). Seat limits depend on your plan, and we prevent invites/role changes that exceed your limits.

Business Payroll lets you create payroll runs (monthly or annual) with revisions, import employee rows via CSV and edit/add manually, review warnings/errors before saving results, and export employee PDFs, run summary PDFs, and CSV exports. Some compliance/export packs may be available as add-ons depending on your plan.

Not yet. TaxCalc helps you calculate, document, and export payroll outcomes, but it does not submit filings or remit taxes on your behalf. You still remit through the appropriate channels (or via your tax professional).

The Payroll Compliance Pack is an optional add-on that bundles the documents/exports you need for internal records and remittance follow-up. Availability depends on your plan and selected add-ons.

Business plans run on monthly or annual cycles. Card-based Business billing can auto-renew, while selected non-card payment methods renew manually. We notify owners ahead of expiry and if a renewal payment fails. Manual-renew Business workspaces may enter a short billing grace period before access becomes inactive.

Upgrades take effect immediately (and may charge only the difference for the remaining time). Downgrades are scheduled for the next billing cycle. We also block plan changes that would put you below your current active seat/usage limits.

Yes. You can archive and restore workspaces. If you choose to permanently delete an archived workspace, we confirm it with an OTP email step because it is irreversible.

No. TaxCalc.ng provides estimates for planning purposes. Always consult a qualified tax professional for formal advice or filings.
