If you run payroll with spreadsheets, you already know the usual problems: version mismatch, missed deductions, and exports that are hard to trust.

Today, we are launching Business Payroll on TaxCalc.ng.

This release adds Business Workspaces and a full payroll workflow for teams that need cleaner operations around PAYE.

Who this is for

Business Payroll is built for:

  • HR and Finance teams running monthly PAYE
  • SMEs that need repeatable payroll runs and clean exports
  • Operators and accountants managing more than one company workflow

What you can do now

With Business Payroll, you can:

  • Create separate Business Workspaces for each company
  • Invite team members with role-based access (Owner, HR, Finance, Viewer, Auditor)
  • Create payroll runs by period (monthly or annual) and keep revisions
  • Import payroll CSVs, review issues, then calculate
  • Export employee PDFs, run summary PDF, CSV, and ZIP outputs
  • Record compliance/remittance notes where applicable

Some exports and compliance features depend on your workspace plan and selected add-ons.

How the workflow looks

  1. Create a Business Workspace
  2. Add company profile details
  3. Create a payroll run (monthly or annual)
  4. Upload CSV and review warnings/errors
  5. Calculate and save results
  6. Export PDFs/CSV/ZIP as needed

Why we built this

TaxCalc started with one goal: make Nigerian tax computation clear and practical.

Business Payroll extends that same standard to team workflows:

  • clearer review before calculation
  • cleaner outputs for records and sharing
  • better control over roles, access, and repeat runs

Quick FAQ

Do I need an account for Business Payroll? Yes. Business Workspaces require an account so runs, exports, and member access stay scoped and secure.
Can multiple team members use the same workspace? Yes. You can invite members and assign roles based on how your team operates.
Does this file or remit taxes for us automatically? Not yet. TaxCalc helps you calculate, review, document, and export payroll outcomes. You still complete filing/remittance through your required channels.
Is TaxCalc an official government platform? No. TaxCalc.ng is an independent product and is not affiliated with FIRS, LIRS, or any government agency.

For full policy and commercial terms:

TaxCalc provides estimates based on the rules loaded in the product and your inputs. Always review outputs and consult a qualified tax professional for filing/remittance decisions specific to your case.
