TaxCalc.ng just got a major upgrade across Personal Premium and Business Payroll.

This release focuses on how people actually work: planning salary decisions, managing year-long tax outcomes, running payroll, and finding saved outputs quickly.

If you already use TaxCalc.ng, you should notice a cleaner flow, faster actions, and much better usability on mobile.

What is new

This release includes:

  • New dashboard workspace navigation
  • Salary Simulator in Dashboard
  • Annual Tax Planner in Dashboard
  • Deadline workspace, filtered calendar saves, and reminder tools
  • Business payslip generation
  • Employee breakdown share links
  • Improved reports flow
  • Better mobile experience across dashboard and payroll

New dashboard workspace structure

The dashboard is now organized into clear workspaces:

  • Overview
  • Smart Sheet
  • Simulator
  • Planner
  • Reports
  • Business
  • Settings

This replaces the older crowded layout and makes daily actions easier to find.

Salary Simulator is now live

Salary Simulator is now available in Dashboard for eligible Personal Premium users.

You can now:

  • Compare Scenario A vs Scenario B
  • View monthly and annual comparisons
  • Save and reopen simulations
  • Rename saved runs
  • Export PDF summaries

This is built for real decisions, not one-off checks.

Annual Tax Planner is now live

Annual Tax Planner is now available in Dashboard for eligible Personal Premium users.

You can now:

  • Plan remaining-year outcomes from current progress
  • Save and reopen annual plans
  • Track projected totals and estimated balance
  • Export planner reports as PDF

It is designed for users who want planning continuity, not just a single estimate.

Business Payroll updates

Business Payroll now includes stronger output and sharing workflows.

Payslip generation

Businesses can now generate employee payslips inside payroll run workflows.

Payroll teams can now generate secure employee-specific breakdown links with expiry controls and link management actions.

Reports and mobile improvements

Reports

Reports workspace is now focused on saved documents and cleaner archive behavior, with clearer bridges to Simulator and Planner workflows.

Mobile

We improved high-traffic mobile flows across:

  • Smart Sheet interactions
  • Simulator and Planner actions
  • Payroll row visibility and actions
  • Dashboard spacing and bottom navigation behavior

Where to find the new features

Final note

This update is part of a bigger shift for TaxCalc.ng:

  • from one-off calculator behavior
  • to a full workspace for tax planning and payroll operations

The goal remains the same: simpler Nigerian tax and payroll workflows, with better quality outputs and less friction.
